Connect

Being connected is about building and keeping up relationships with other people, especially the ones that you love and care about (for example your friends and family). Connecting with other people is really important for everyone because it helps us:

Build self-esteem

Feel like we belong

Share positive experiences

Get emotional support when needed

Because of what is currently going on in the world, many people do not feel connected to other people and might be feeling lonely. When we feel lonely, it is especially important that we try to build connections with others. Right now, it feels hard to connect with people who make us feel happy. But because we are physically isolated, it is even more important for us to feel socially connected. Luckily, there are many ways to do this. There is lots of ideas and suggestions of how to connect with others on this page.
