Hello and welcome to all our Curlews and Kittiwakes!

Welcome to Alverton school, and to our web page, where you will find everything you need to know before your child joins us in their new Reception class. Time is passing quickly and it won't before we will be welcoming your children at the school gates looking all grown up in their red school uniform! Both myself and Mrs Hall are really looking forward to meeting you and your lovely children very soon.

Today, we would love to share with you our (very humorous and slightly nutty) video of the both of us making our wooden spoon puppets! As you can see in the video below- lots of giggles and some slight mishaps were had along the way but it's all part of the fun! Hopefully you will all have just as much fun making your wooden spoon puppets as we did!

Please can we remind you to keep checking back to this page over the next few weeks, as we will be uploading some exciting stories, for your children to enjoy listening to at home. These will be read by both of your teachers. We hope this will help your child to become familiar with our faces before they meet us in September.

Again, please contact the school office for initial contact and they will be happy to assist you or direct you to the appropriate support.

Happy puppet making!

With our very best wishes,
