Meet the Team

  • Mrs Louise Hanley

    Class Teacher

Mrs Hanley is our Lead Teacher at The Woodland Nursery. She has been at Alverton School since September 2016. She has a PGCE in Primary and Early Years and BSc (Hons) in Conservation Biology and Ecology.

Mrs Hanley loves spending time in the outdoors. She has two gorgeous horses, called Bella and Button, who she enjoys riding in her spare time. She also enjoys trail running and recently completed her first Ultra Marathon with her husband.

  • Mrs Viv Roberts

    Nursery Nurse

Mrs Roberts is one of our most experienced Nursery Nurses at The Woodland Nursery. She has an NVQ Level 3 in Early Years and NVQ level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification. She has worked at Alverton School since September 1999 but has spent the last 10 years in the nursery.

Mrs Roberts likes spending quality time with her family, enjoys walking and (when she’s not running around about the nursery) reading a good book!

  • Miss Rebecca McClure

    Nursery Nurse

Becca is our Two-Year-Old Key Worker at The Woodland Nursery. She has a National Diploma Level 3 in Early Years and Childhood Education and recently competed her Foundation Degree in Early Years. She has worked at Alverton School since September 2016 and before that worked at a private day nursery.

During the holidays, Becca works on cruise ships helping to run the Kids Clubs. She really enjoys travelling around the world and her all-time favourite place she has visited is New York. Becca also loves guinea pigs and takes good care of the school guinea pigs at the weekend.

  • Miss Lucy Jenkin

    Trainee Nursery Nurse

Lucy is our newest member of the team and helps out with the 2-year-olds one day a week. She is currently studying for her Level 2 in Early Years and Childhood Education, and has lots of experience of working with young children.
