Our School Day
The nursery has two sessions daily, 8.45am-11.45am and 12.30pm-3.30pm. There is also the option to stay for lunch. Please enquire when you visit, or contact the school office on 01736 364087, for more details.
Reception to Year Six
The school day begins at 9.00am, with the doors opening at 8.45am, and ends at 3.15pm. Registration takes place at 9.00am.
Breakfast club is available, at a charge of £2.00, between 8.00am and 8.45am. This must be booked, in advance, through the office.
The Reception Classes (Choughs and Robins) and Key Stage One (Puffins, Owls and Kingfishers) have a morning break from 10.30am – 10.45am. A piece of fruit is supplied for each child in EYFS and KS1 through the county fruit scheme.
The Key Stage Two Classes have a morning break from 10.30am – 10.45am. Children can bring a healthy snack or purchase fruit, cheese or snack bars from our healthy tuck shop.
The whole school break for lunch between 12.15pm and 1.15pm.
Key Stage One have a break in the afternoon between 2.30pm and 2.45pm.
Drop-off and collection
At the beginning of the school day children in the Reception classes (Choughs and Robins) should be brought to the external classroom door (near the main school entrance). All other children (Year One and above) should enter through the hall doors.
At the end of the day the children in Choughs and Robins should be met at the same door as they arrived. Key Stage One children (Puffins, Owls and Kingfishers) should be collected from the steps in the Key Stage One playground. Key Stage Two children (Year three and above) should be collected from the gate near the woods and the nursery.
After School Clubs
If your child is attending an after school club you will receive a letter detailing the time it will finish and where your child should be collected.
Getting to and from school.
Walking is certainly the best option. We also have bike racks where bikes and scooters can be stored. If you must arrive by car, please park considerately.
